This static installation comprises 57, A3 pen on vellum drawings arranged in 15 columns by 4 rows, some 1.68m x 4.45m in total.
Each drawing represents the death of one woman due to gendered violence in Australia in 2022. I have sought to replicate the range of ages as well as the differing ethnicities of this group as a whole.
The installation was part of the Parallel Play exhibition @ the Barossa Regional Gallery, early 2023.
